Quite right Peter2001, If I remeber correctly, to raise one gramme of water by one degree requires 1 calorie (old style) to turn one gramme of water at 99.99999 deg C into steam requires 512 calories, so to turn one gramme of water at 60deg to steam requires 40+512 calories, ie. 552 calories, but to turn one gramme of water at 80 to steam requires 20+512 calories, ie 532 calories, a saving of only 3% or so, probably not worth the additional solar collection gear required.
