Anybody care to comment on my post 2092, great news from PRO recently (Nov) but was it only confirmation of what they told us in September ?...
From year end results 03SEP2002 ...
"Now, just weeks into our new financial year, we already have a
confirmed order book for over 3,500 instruments as well as 500,000 cartridges.
The predictability of demand will increase but meanwhile we must learn to live
with and to respond to these huge swings in demand".
Recent sales update 26NOV2002...
"Following on from this, Provalis is pleased to report that it shipped
approximately 2,400 instruments and 260,000 test cartridges to its distributors
in the four months to the end of October, and then during November shipped the
one millionth Glycosal test cartridge from this plant".
As both the above are talking about the same period it would seem that the November update was confirmation of what we were told in September. In fact it would appear that 1100 instruments are yet to be shipped.
If you pro-rata those sales we could come out with 10,000 insruments sold at year end. Quite what that will mean in terms of 'Break even or better' I'm not sure.
