Stem cells? and Spec criticised me for investigating Diabetese and A1c markets outside of the US, ie imminent and actual market places not POSIBILITIES 10, 20 years out? The dilution of this thread continues with various stock recommendations making a regular appearance (ReNeuron has now also been mentioned). Some people are saying that they have sold up while Provalis treads water in order to trade the next mover and accordingly posted their reccomendations. Where on earth does discussing implications decades out (if ever) fit into the same philosophy? There is only one philosophy it fits into and I will let everyone make up their own minds.
Consistencey is the key to who posts genuine information, and caution should be observed to inconsistancey and multi named users.
Spec or Beluckytreakle? Stem cells deserve some considerstion but, if you GENUINELY want to research it as a cure for diabetes then a new thread should be started with a relavent time scale in mind.
Provalis and many other companies focused on diabetes drugs and monitoring will be hugely succesfull in the time scales involved in finding a cure for diabetes. It is like saying there is no money to be made out of oil because of the alternatives fuels that are on the horizon.
It is also highly likely that the next generation of diagnostic tools to emerge from Provalis will target other diseases, however that is much further out ;-)
