Celera are going into high throughput Proteomics in a big way through one of its companies PE biosystems I believe. Their involvment started about 6 months ago. PEB has its fingers in many pies in the proteomics field (I believe they have a tie up with OGS). There is a landgrab going on with proteomics and PEB and OGS are two of the bigger players although PEB has really only just started.

There are numerous targets in this field and luckily because PRM have been in the field for 5 years longer than PEB they have managed to grab some interesting targets. This does not dismiss PEB in any way, just notes that this is a big pie to carve up.
