Let us have a brief look at the FACTS we know about BSE / IDEXX.
1. Proteome have a patent covering all diagnostic use for finding rogue prions in blood and other body fluids.
2. In April IDEXX signed a license with PRM to exploit PRM's IP on live BSE, and other animal TSE, tests.
3. Before doing that IDEXX will, without question, have carried out Due Diligence which will have included -
The validity of the PRM patents. To ensure they were comprehensive enough to protect the investment that IDEXX were to make.
The actual effectiveness of the undeveloped test.
3. On September 30th. Proteome said that the IDEXX work was "proceeding to our best expectations".
4. The Company has said to some enquirers that, should the "proceeding to our best expectations" position change, they would have to notify shareholders. This they have not done.
So really what else do we need to know? We have Proteome's up to date assurances; and to me that is a far higher quaily of information than that provided by some of the "knockers" we see on this BB.
