I would agree that the rally on 24th was in the main down to news of the US BSE case and speculation that the IDEXX test was imminent. As you have often pointed out, that test is not just around the corner - I would be very pleased if it were available in Q3 this year.
But surely you don't think the recent sharp rise (prior to 24th) in the share price was anything to so with BSE, do you? Most have been buying for any number of factors well expressed on this board in recent months. The US news is a bonus, no more than that, as it suggests the benefits of the BSE test, subject to timing, efficacy and competition etc is much bigger that some had anticipated (I say "some" because the smart alecs had probably concluded that BSE was bound to show up in US any way).
However, if you think PRM all is about a BSE test, then you're probably right that its got ahead of itself.
