I would not even bother with all of this were it not for the enormity of the prize if PRM/IDEXX can indeed crack it.
Square1 and Goatherd to a lesser degree keep suggesting that a test is imminent.
If they are correct then it will not only be worth a bloomin fortune in its own right but it will give incredible creedence to the rest of the PRM story.
I am out of the company at the moment (its already been close to 3 bagger for me) but am not pig headed enough to not jump back in in a big hurry if the news is confirmed.
I just dont know whether to believe them though, they just dont ring true to me (I could be oh so wrong though !) and lets face it there has been NO major announcement to suggest actual revenue from a commercialised test for any of the biomarkers.

When I contacted the Alberta Government about the BSE test they said they were aware of all the labs working on potential tests.
They did not feel that PRM/IDEXX were the front runner at all. At the time they felt that it was all taking a lot longer to develop and a lot more difficult than originally envisaged. They expected a test from the Canadian or European labs in 12mths to 18mths ... thats was last summer 2003 that I spoke with them.
In all honesty it was one hell of a flog to get to the right person and there was a lot of doubt expressed that even in this time frame a test would be available.
I dont know any more than anyone else with respect to the status for a BSE test in live animals but the pressure on the Canadian and American labs has to be extreme and they are talking about testing every animal scheduled for slaughter.
The problem with BSE and the agricultural industry is so great that I cant believe that the US government would not be all over IDEXX by now if they held the key to a test.
The loss to US and Canadian farmers is in the billions and its a matter of national urgency to sort this.

Of course we also have the director selling.... cmon if you were a director/shareholder who knew your company were on the verge of one of the largest breakthroughs .... would you sell even 1 share ?

My bet is that the Canadian are very close to cracking this and have been for quite some time now.
PRM share price is expressing a high degree of certainty that they are the frontrunners here... hmmm! maybe they are and maybe they are not.

I have PRM on my active stock watch and have monitors looking for any hint of success. If they do make it then yes you will all be having a Five Pound Party and some .....
if not you wont see 50p...

PS: I would expect the BSE news from washington to boost PRM share price in the short term irregardless. I have heard also that there is a second animal discovered but cant confirm.
