Proteome Sciences. AGM Statement.

It's easy to understand the frustration this share produces. Some time ago in response to a phone call from someone on this board the contact at Proteome is supposed to have said something to the effect "we know when the deal will be signed/complete but not to the exact day."

With about an hour to go to the end of the trading year why do I not find this comforting.

Collectively at Cobham they have so far failed on the day (expected to announce at AGM - allegedly as per CJP), failed on the week (imminent to me is within a week, and I'm sure this was said somewhere), failed on the month (soon, shortly), now failed on the year (by the end of the year - supposedly from a director "oh God yes"). I wonder what comes logically after year...

Of course they could still announce something after the market closed today and confound the doubters, but this would turn a potential PR coup into a PR disaster (with half the city on holiday and the other half preparing for New Year) so this is definitely out.

On the other hand..........
