If - as I believe - other much smaller companies (ABI and at least one of their sublicensees) may also be involved in the TMT deal then, because the sums involved may be a far greater percentage of their turnover/profits, it seems quite likely that the financial year end may indeed be a factor in delays into the new year. So you may be spot on!

We shall see.
