It depends whether the closing bets are long or short. If more shorts than longs are closed then there will be a positive influence on the share price and vice versa. Bets can also be "rolled over" i.e. closed with any profit/loss being realised and immediately reopened with a later end date. In this case there should be no impact on the sp.
My own guess would be that there are more shorts than longs out there at the moment. Does anybody know what percentage of PRM is out on loan at the moment?
