On April the first, all fools day, Proteome issues a RNS for a global licence deal for Tandem Mass Tags; Heads of agreement with a major global player. It must of taken at least 3 months to get to this stage so all in all the negotiations have been ongoing for at least a year.
So 12 months later and this deal still has not been consummated. Surely there has to be a major problem somewhere. It looks to me that the original global player has pulled out and we are continuing to seek a replacement.
Quite frankly, despite what Green said, I cannot see anything happening this year. In fact I would not be surprised if April first 2006 will be the next time Proteome's management deigns to communicate with us. The question is, will we be fooled once again.
