Profitable US copper play with 10x expansion in 2 years

wolstencroft - Fri, 30 Dec 05 :

If you trade a lot you can buy level 2 and look at the order book. But if not then in this case if the spread is say 95-99 then put in an offer to buy at 97. This will then mean that anyone selling at market rates will sell to you and anyone else wanting to buy will have to offer 98 or 99.

Its always a good idea to look at the prices for a few days to get a feel for how the price moves, as you seem to have done.

I always used to buy at the offer but after a while realised that during the day many deals will be struck somewhere in the middle of the general bid/offer spread so always put an bid in early (around 3pm UK time) and wait.
