You can without fail guarantee, that when a pressure group start a panic, they see £££$$$ far more than philanthopy.
Whats the bets that there are several quangos forming already ( if not already formed) with heads of dep`s on £155k, thousands of helpers, millions of £££ of OUR cash ready to spend, and for what?
The records show this to be the warmest year since ( if I remember) 1745, good year as a bench mark then?, as the Thames was frozen over 6 feet down.
The best way is to start a top class guru on £500k a year, like the bloke they called "The Minister of Drought", in 1976- he lasted a few months before the drought broke-Spike Milligan said he was a genius.
Its rubbish , of course weather is cyclical, why just look back to " official" records- because the suit the farties, we were growing grapes in Yorkshire in Roman times, for gods sakes.
Of course it will all change eventually back to freezing cold weather- and of course the quangos will jump for joy crying " we told you global warming would bring a new ice-age".
