Pensioner hopping mad with Hasselhoff

DAVID HASSELHOFFBARROW pensioner Margie Arts is hopping mad with David Hasselhoff.
While millions worship him, the pensioner is fed up of seeing him and his shiny teeth on TV.
Why? She claims Pipex, the company he endorses in a series of surreal ads, has signed her up to their broadband service when she never asked for it.
And now she wants the Action Desk to get the “Hoff” off her back.
As a BT customer of 30 years she was shocked to received a letter from Broadband provider Pipex informing her that she had signed up to their service and would be sent a modem.
Mrs Arts says she received a unsolicited call from a Pipex salesperson but did not sign up to anything.
Mrs Arts, of Newby Terrace, Barrow said: “I told her that I did not want to take up the offer at this time of year, as it was not convenient for me. The very next day I received a strange call from my line provider BT asking why I wanted to move away from them.”
Mrs Arts has sought our help to expose the case.
Mrs Arts has tried to get in touch to cancel the supposed contract but could not make contact with the company.
She has now been forced to write to them.
We tried to get in touch with Pipex but were unable to get through. We left a message with the press office but have not heard back. We will try again next week.
