PETROCELTIC (PCI):CHART AND DISCUSSION THREAD (moderated)

I am still new enough to this investing game so please excuse the rambling question if the answer is blindingly obvious. I am still a holder in this share but have a couple of concerns. The company has over 578million shares issued. Does this not rob us of achieving real value from this share if they eventually go on to make a good commercial discovery and doesn't it leave the share price wide open to manipulation (that we already have seen)? Investing in exploration companies is like swimming in shark infested waters but I am beginning to think that we are very much in the deep end with this share.
