denjon,
yes. I have also had nagging fears ever since the last hydrocarbon law that russia and alferia are gettign very cosy and their cartel work and approach is not dissimilar. Such trends dont tend to reverse. I was encouraged by other holders that we had an old PSC and that the new law would be less likely to touch us. While I had private concerns on this, I held them back, as I hadnt followed as much PCI history as some on here, so felt that it wasnt a point I was particularly confident to argue on. Also I didnt see any downside at around 12p, whatever the view on the algerian hydrocarbon law.
The posts this morning give me more doubts in this direction, and the selling down by a big holder, for whatever the reason, wont encourage the market any...
I still dont see that this is worth any less than 14p a share right now and could easily be worth 26p+ in the next few months. What actually will happen to the share price I am not sure, as I considered it was mispriced at 12p, and clearly if it was mispriced once, there is no guarantee it cant happen again.
no advice intended,
RoL
