IF PET'S TECHNICAL CO-OPERATION AGREEMENT ON MERJAN ALONE GETS TURNED INTO A PSA THERE IS A PROVEN FIELD REPEAT PROVEN FIELD WITH AN ESTIMATED 760M BARRELS AT SHALLOW DEPTH ALONE (DISCOVERED 1983 & 29.5' API OIL) WITHOUT ANALYSING THE WIDER REGION OR THE ENHANCED 3D SEISMIC UNDERTAKEN BY GSC.

What an idiot you are mansiep! Horgan stated clearly that the merjan PROJECT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH PET GETTING A PSA THERE!! It is dangerous half truths and lies like the sort of crap you spew out that is misleading PIs, but of course that is the intention, is it not!
As a matter of interest, WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO THE MERJAN PROJECT? IS WAS SCHEDULED TO BE FINISHED BY THE END OF 2006!!
And what has happened to the S&L update? It is now 4 months late. Horgan promised at the July AGM that the SECOND tranche of money would be handed over by 'the end of August' once the Iraqi oil ministry had checked the progress of the contract!
Why are the Iraqis withholding the money?
Why will Horgan not answer questions about the delay?
Is there a problem with S&L and the Merjan project?
If so will the Iraqis ignore PET in the future?
And finally, mansiep, you talked a load of bollix about the IMF forcing Iraq to pass the oil law before the end of December!
It will not happen, FACT!!
