Petrel in Iraq oil study

Petrel Resources announced a technical cooperation agreement on the Merjan block with the oil exploration company of the Iraqi Ministry of Oil.
Four Petrel members and four others from the Oil Exploration company will undertake the study. Petrel will also provide latest technology and training courses.
"Petrel hopes to expand and deepen its cooperation with the Iraqi Ministry of Oil as quickly as possible," added the group.
The Merjan block surrounds the Merjan oil field in Central Western Iraq.
