Since your objection was about this thread being about Pet, when have you ever posted about Pet? Even in your 4/5 posts yesterday you didn’t!
I on the other hand do, and as tonystringy said, I have never posted politics not relevant to pet on FYB. If I do here confirms I only respond in kind to others’ political posts such as SS’. Please show you are civilised and grant me the right to respond, I beg of you!...........No!!!!!
Lastly if you still haven't grasped the simple fact that Pet is all about politics in Iraq, then on what basis are you invested in or positive about Pet?
Or can you explain why Pet who has never serviced anything is the same Pet that has got the best contract and more than any others (who have history of oil exploration etc, such as EverAsia, Dome, OGI etc...) from Iraq?
Do you know how a mere teacher in Saudi Arabia, Al Harriri, the late Prime Minister of Lebanon, became a billionaire and a Prime Minister of country he had lived outside it for more than 20 years?
Or how the Shaheen Brothers, poor vegetables merchants in the West Bank, became billionaires over night?
Relationship, relationship. Harriri relationship with the late King Fahd of Saudi Arabia when they were both play-boys roaming the night clubs of London/New York. As to the Shaheen Brothers, relationship with the King Abdullah of Jordan.
And so Pet will be a billion company because of its relationship with the IMO and the politics of the middle east and, more specifically, of Iraq.
Business/contracts in the middle east (and any other corrupt regimes) is about relationships, NOTHING ELSE, even at the expense of the welfare of the people/country.
If anything you should be grateful for my input if only because I provide a different perspective from the ‘other’ side.
