Although the figures in isolation look good I would have expected quicker growth given the perceived potential of the "global market". The number of active players would seem to be around the daily footfall for, say, 150 betting shops, and in this context the size of the market doesn't seem that big.All the more so as PartyPoker seems increasingly the dominant site.
As an aside, I am in Zambia on business at present and Partypoker is being quite heavily advertised on Satellite TV in between Premier League and La Liga football matches. This service covers all of Africa so the audience is pretty big and presumably the intent is brand awareness.
