PokerPro - The news that q3 had been poor was flagged at the interims and was priced in (the sp had halved). The positive reaction was due to current trading since the launch of the new platform.
Q3 is not a smashing quarter but the weakest as people spend less time indoors during the summer month. The delay of the wsop was mentioned as a factor, but not the principal driver of traffic. If traditionally it occurred at the beginning of the quarter then it would have a greater impact than if it occurred during the middle.
This statement has bought Seagal and co. some time, but going forward a key component of growth will be cross sell with the launch of new games next year.
