At what point should one cash in one's profits, I wonder? While I was fortunate in averaging down when the sp was on it's knees, my usual rule of thumb is to withdraw capital once I have recorded a gain of 20% and leave the profits to run. But with PTY, I am not so sure.
Looking at the chart for a 5 year period, and consulting my faithful John Murphy tome, the sp seems now to have formed a classic saucer pattern and is due to close the gap. That suggests to me that 38p is on the cards. But I see no justification for such heady price.
Frankly, I will be very happy to exit at anything above 13p and FWIW I would be very tempted once the sp scales 10p, a major psychological barrier. But barrriers can and do get broken.
