NPNW theres a definite strategy you have to come to terms with in the 1hr R&A period, say the chip stack starting is 1500 and like the monkey the fee is 10$ entry and 10$ rebuys, I have 2 set strategies, one of which I will choose pre start, (a) 2 bets = 20$ = goal is to arrive one hour later with 1000 chips
the add on gives you 3500 for the second hour and thats plenty for a tight game over 45 minutes (BB usually 100/200, or 75/150 at this stage) (b) 3 bets = 30$ outlay - first goal is to play tighter than a _ _ but bet the premium hands aggressively and hope to double or tripl chipstack, if you do this you now sit out if you like and take 4K + 2.5K add on into the next round, if it goes pearshaped make a rebuy and close up shop until 3rd bet at the add-on.
got to have a plan/ staretgy and goals playing the R & A - most important is surviving for the second round
