I do not want to be accused of being a constant conspiracy theorist but I do try to understand how things happen especially when they do not move as predicted.
There seems to be evidence of newsflow being "managed" to aid large holdings to be sold down. It happened with the chapire announcement with Endeavour selling 3 million shares, now the El Dorado announcement has been linked to Petrolex selling down. The Endeavour sale went unremarked even though the RNS came out three hours after the dryhole announcement.
I'm not sure the El Dorado announcement can be claimed to be standard - more like "buy on rumour sell on fact" irrespective of the content of either.
Today we have a good surge in price, some strange deals
and
nick15 buys some shares in PRE and uses lowercase for the first time in weeks.
If this does not suggest to you that a conspiracy is afoot right now then I dont know what to say.
