Sorry to have got into your sights.

I totally agree with many of your points
I do not think your column is the only reason that PAN is not rocketing nor do I think the rubbish / interesting analysis posted here has that much influence.

However, Just as a discussion point consider this :

1) If an Institutional broker is going to pick up the phone and say to his client "Time to pick up a couple of hundred thousand PRE" he is going to need to be well motivated.

2) I have yet to meet a broker who does not read your column or at least know about it. So this has to be a factor in the equation that leads to the motivation.

3) A broker is going to need to be exceptionally well motivated to recommend a share which is a significant (and losing) part of the highest profile (and losing) stock portfolio in the country.

Hopefully you will soon be making money so the brokers will be more respectful and be positively influenced by your picks. All the while you are down they can sneer and gibe and claim they wouldn't be making the mistakes you are. blah blah etc..

I am not a professional, nor do I think myself particularly well informed,I thought BBs were places to discuss things that need discussing.

But I am trying to learn just as you are and I now know lots of ways to lose money inexplicably but am encouraged by the fact that some of the long term trading professionals I know are just as perplexed as I am. Your thread on the pbb was very comforting on that score as well.
