nickb: there's a source of comfort that 11.5p was the price in dec 1995. no fear of uncharted territory there. and the familiarity of the former price gives a sense of deja vu, to touch those we-have-been-there-before buttons for those heavily into history and nostalgia.
of course, the more forward-looking may be becoming, after eight years, somewhat impatient for more vibrant action and there's no pleasing of all tastes, but for those who like a chat and a wallow, an opportunity to go nowhere in particular, like those old-fashioned charabanc 'mystery tours' which tended to visit one if not more rural tea-room if not roadhouse provides an oasis of calm, (though possibly also a nagging anxiety for profit sought- but not found), in today's busy world.
