A quick broad net search comes up with this. It's from 14 Nov so apologies if it's been put on the thread already but in my occasional visits lately can't think that I've seen this.
Mistral are a small company, but it's a start, so read with optimism.
Mistral Boilers has ensured that connections to its oil-fired combination boilers are water-tight by switching from compression fittings to B Oyster converters made by IBP Conex
Not only are water-tight connections ensured, but time is also saved.
These fittings are used to connect threaded fittings, radiators and valves, the converter is retained on the copper tube by simply making several dimples in the tube end withn B Oyster pliers
Independent tests carried out by BSRIA show that this converter saves on average 40% of the time required to make a joint compared with traditional methods. The concept is that the dimples in the tube grip the fitting, rather that the fitting gripping the pipe — as in a compression fitting.
