agreed re the possible impact of 'decent buying' (hence my earlier purchase) but, if nothing else it might convince a few that getting out and hoping to get back in at a lower price is going to be very difficult indeed and that might deter short term selling. In such circumstances, any possible newspaper 'tips' (e.g Friday's Investor Chronicle and/or the week-ends press) which I suspect the 'market' will get to know about by Friday at the latest, would lead to a rapid and considerable response. All IMHO, of course!
