I for one will be very glad to get the new year well and truely underway, with so many traders still enjoying the break (not that I blame them) things are just so boring right now.
I hate to think of what will happen to the people of Irac if war is declared but also believe that untill the issue is resolved one way or another we wont see the end of this bear market. My hope is a peaceful resolution, which would be the best outcome for the world economy. When I reflect on 9/11, some 15 months on, I get the uneasy feeling that, Bin Laden may not have won the war but he has most certainly won this battle from an economic stand point. Up untill 9/11 there were postive signs of a market set for recovery, I dont have that same feeling now.
On a brighter note there are always oppertunities in any market and I wish I had enough cash to cover all the bombed out recovery plays that are on offer right now, and I find myself now holding for the longer term rather taking a quick profit. This is my position with OYS as I,m positive that come March/April time the currant share price will be just a dream never to be seen again.
I did,nt mean to ramble on (blame it on this 'Dull Market')I just wanted to say that I hope that 2003 brings an end to this Bear Market and we all enjoy a very prosperous trading year ahead.
