irons28 Thanks for the info mate, the link is working now and I am now going to have a look. I do take your point that I am considering taking on a big task and you pointing that out to me is perhaps enough for me to get it done professionally. I do consider myself a reasonable DIYer as far as most jobs are concerned but I have never touched water pipes....My missis has just walked in and read your reply and said she agrees with you and that I should get it done professionally, I think both you and her are right as you cannot start a job in the bathroom that you can't finish in the same day as the toilet especially is in constant use. You have just made my mind up but I had to at least consider doing it myself if the Oystertec fittings were easily available and could have (maybe) saved myself money.
