Tashkent. (Interfax) - Marakand Minerals Ltd., a subsidiary of Britain's Oxus Gold Plc., plans to start building an ore mill costing around $100 million at the Khandiza polymetals field in Uzbekistan's Surkhandarya region late 2004.
The mill's capacity and exact cost should be known when the project's bankable feasibility study has been completed in June, Oxus's Tashkent office told Interfax.
