Finance without hedging isn't available. I don't know of any lenders who don't insist on it as partial collateral for the considerable sums they are called upon to lend. Oxus has done well to get rid of the AGF hedge so quickly - I would not want to see them saddled with another one immediately, particularly in the present climate. Even AVM are now having to satisfy their own historic hedge, in spite of Catchpole saying 3 years ago that he would never have to sell into it at a loss....
