Oxford Biomedica.
Fast and Bulbous - Tue, 01 Jan 02 :
QAZ, good post thanks, a useful reminder of the diversification of OXB compared to some other biotechs, and the consequent spreading of the risk within the one company.
Having not posted since before Xmas, I was dismayed to see some of the playground stuff that had developed over this period; I remember when lonely people used to phone the Samaritans when they had problems ....
Speaking as a qualified Psychologist, a brief word of advice for the majority of us who would wish to keep the more adult and informative posts going : please resist the temptation to respond in any way (especially by name) to the playground stuff, for above all it is attention and recognition that these posters crave, i.e. any kind of feedback whether negative or not. The best strategy is just to ignore them altogether, then hopefully they might find another outlet where they get more attention.
For the rest (and I'm glad to see still by far the majority), please keep up the informative posts (whether bullish or bearish, doesn't matter so long as we can argue the case constructively) about OXB - which is what after all we're actually interested in if we visit this bb. Happy 2002 everyone. Pete.
