gerry2 - AK and his wife have less than 4% of the shares so a takeover can happen whether they like it or not. If they are opposed to a takeover at this stage, then they will have to rely on the backing of the institutions. I would hope that the Trovax deal and the promise of Prosavin are fully reflected in the SP before a bid comes in.
marwalker - that's why the price for a takeover will have to be at a very large premium to make it difficult for institutions to refuse a "bird in the hand". Either way, independence or takeover, should be good for shareholders.
