PARIS (AFX) - Sanofi-Aventis could buy a biotechnology company if there were one available with three or four products, something that is currently not the case, chairman and CEO Jean-Francois Dehecq said in an interview with the daily La Tribune.

He said nothing should be ruled out with regard to acquisitions 'even if it's a question of a complicated and perhaps costly move.'
