In effect imho it protects Little old OXB in the playground from the BIG bullies .
That's Why we see the terms "Strategic alliances" touted .
I don't think we have any need to worry about a Takeover .
We have many big Brothers watching our backs .
And the licence list Gets Longer and Longer .
Meanwhile the OXB Acorn will flourish No Doubt about it .
