It looks like the music has stopped for the moment at the shareholder-musical-chairs. No-one keen to unload, and if there are people out there who want to buy more (and I think there are) they don't think they will get very many even if they bid up.
I'm very pleased and relieved to see the price settling (I hope) above 40p. With luck it will stay here for a few weeks before the Great News, to give people the confidence that the news when it comes is not all in the current price. I don't think the news will come before mid January (and may not come then). Some people are still looking for it to come over Christmas, but it is usually only bad news that is slipped out over Christmas, or deals desperately needed before the year end for accounting purposes. The expected Trovax deal doesn't fall into either such class (I hope), so the people who are working on it are likely to be distracted by Christmas and end of year processing.
As I've often said, the share price does not affect the underlying value one way or the other, but 40p sure helps those with a large shareholding to sleep more soundly. :-)
