OXFORD BIOMEDICA (OXB): MODERATED CHART AND DISCUSSION THREAD

I think as I have said all along that AK wants to keep OXB independent and take the long term view that OXB will be huge off the back of its pipeline and technologies in 10 years time, an be pretty big even in 2 or three years.

As such there are various cards he can play at various times to give OXB a better chance of staying independent.

One is making sure all the parties with an interest in OXB take stakes, so it is much harder for a knockout bid to go through...there seems to be a lot of this IMO

Another is making sure that players who are not interested in a takeover take a stake, again, making it harder for one corporation to have a stranglehold on the technology

Another is licensing out the technology to several global pharmas so there is less need for a takeover to assure access to technology platforms, and also making it of less detriment to competitor if you happen to acquire it yourself, reducing the advantage...

Another is publicising just exactly how good is OXB's pipeline to the wider world at just the right time

another is making sure prosavin hits the street at just the right time....

I think yesterdays news was just one of a number of chips that AK has played helping to assure OXB's long term survival...

I plan to hold OXB for the long term, and think that there will indeed be a long term for OXB...
