Marwalker, i agree. But i'm thinking in terms of validation. So far we have OXB saying its great, and clinicians however well respected, that are part of the OXB team saying it offers great potential. The DoH trial would be the first outward sign that after extensive due diligence Trovax is deemed wothy of £66m investment from public funds. This would give huge comfort to many that still consider OXB too risky to invest in at present. I'm sure to that this wouldn't be announced without a fare degree of fanfare. A much cricised govt would, i'm sure, fully exploit their funding of new initiatives to help in the fight with cancer. It may even take the lack of funding for Avastin etc out of the papers for a day or two!
But as others have pointed out, good news could flow from a number of sources this quarter, and this is just one of them.
