Avastin: dont see how they can say the patient's life is extended by 5 months, if she is alive? is she deceased ( died 5 months later) ? ONE patient?
not much of a test or result if thats the case.
Bowel Cancer is one of many such which is nototiously difficult to determine the survival period in duration. it may be weeks or years.
I surmise, that as the main reason for morbidity in patients with bowel tumors is secondary metastases, TroVax is particulary useful at tacking that spread into other organs ( though maybe not the advance through the membrane itself so its a hard one to call).
