I had another post lined up but I scrapped it.
The patient who paid £50K for private treatment and £32 K was for the chemotherapy part, If the Government can see a treatment that does not need the Chemo, such as Trovax if it is as good or better than, chemo, it could be less expensive, get them through the wards in much less time, save on nursing care and such expenses .. because Chemotherapy is often quite disabling of the patient. Even when it is stabilised by other expensive anti- sickness drugs, it takes a few days before the patient can go home in many cases.
Then they have to come in once a week for radiotherapy for example.
Not with Trovax.
Trovax treatment keeps the patient no sicker than the tumor did.
Doctor if you are about might be worth adding to my train of thought ? I'm not a clinician.
