Scots, the point I was trying to make rather badly is this: In all probability there will already be a deal or a number of offers on the table for PIII out-licencing of TroVax. The question is, is this out-licence offer on terms acceptable to OXB, I believe at the current time they are plainly not (nb they were likely tendered prior to the recent funding). If I were an aggressive pharma/acquisitor my next move, given the low SP would be to go for the jugular, and go hostile with intent on the entire Co. esp if oncology fits with my drug/treatment dev strategy.
Don't get me wrong, we all believe OXB to be worth much more than a 40-45p buy-out price, however, a stealthy predator could just get this 'to go' as it were given the new holders now onboard. The likely hostile's target bid price will be 40% on tomorrow's close.
OXB have to get back above 35p to avoid an imminent hostile situation which yes (I'm afraid in all likelihood) would not be at the fair price we'd consider representative of OXB's numerous technologies and science.
