I have raven on filter so have no idea what he is saying, however Tim (new to this board I see) mentions risks. Well, I think all those invested in OXB know this and anyone investing in a Bio company know this as well. Yes, all bio's would love to get that blockbuster, but they are hard to come by. Even if TroVax is not a blockbuster but generates an income that is a start for a bio.
In the 80's GSK was a very small company, they were giving shares away to their employees when they were at 50p. Then Zantac came along and the rest they say is history.
So yes there are risks, but that can be said for a lot of companies, the risk is different but there all the same. Imagine being invested in Enron .... who would have thought, there are more that were supposed safe stocks.
Anyway, I know very well Oxb, like most other bio's it is high risk. To try for high rewards who accept the risks. If you not for high risk, find a nice blue chip company and put your money in there and come back at pension age and sell them.
Also, these people that sit here saying 5p 10p 15p, well I could say £2 £4 £10. Who is right, neither until the product fails or succeeds. So lets wait till 2006 - 2007 and see where we are.
On that note, I would like wish everyone, (the longs and shorts) a wonderful Xmas and a festive New Year.
