Yes Gerry, it's clearly a different treatment and one that OXB will, I'm quite sure, know about - however, their approach and use of 5T4 is not entirely novel or "unique" as Active claim on their website (re. as they target 5T4 antigen flagged cells through immunotherapy). Significantly, the stimulation of the body's immune system through their therapy would appear to have some toxicity dynamic....not the best combi-therapy to chemo m'thinks.
Have to say two years down the line I'm not so sure OXB would be entirely happy with all aspects of how they are using 5T4, but until more is known about safety (esp for the TTS) and efficacy in both camps there's little point in getting shirty...
