BioPartnering North America Program to Provide a Comprehensive Guide to all Aspects of BioPartnering

SANTA CRUZ, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 15, 2005--California, Technology Vision Group LLC (TVG) is pleased to announce the program for the 4th Annual BioPartnering North America (BPN: www.techvision.com/bpn) conference which will be held in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, on February 5-7, 2006 as a partnership between TVG, BC Biotech, BioAlberta and BIOTECanada. Following the major success of the 3rd annual conference which took place earlier this year attendees will once again benefit from BPN's innovative and informative program which, will feature 5 BioPartnering Leadership Sessions, 6 Industry Workshops and 76 company presentations. Together these features will highlight current themes in the biotech industry and form a comprehensive guide to conducting biotech business in today's environment. One of the most popular features of the BPN program is the Open House Presentations, which applications are still be accepted for and the BioPartnering Leadership Sessions, where key issues effecting the growth of the life-science industry today are debated by a group of key industrial leaders. This year the first BioPartnering Leadership Session of the conference is entitled, "Deal-making in Biotechnology: A State of the Industry Review" and will outline an assessment of worldwide strategic partnering and M&A activity in 2005 and of the key implications for 2006. The session will be chaired by Mr James D. Watson, Head of Merchant Banking and Managing Director of the U.S. company, Burrill & Company. He commented,
