Well worth reading up on that marwalker - really bizarre old world when you get down to that size. Viruses pervert the actions of normal cells by hijacking their DNA replication apparatus and getting it to churn out more viruses just like the infecting agent. The clever bit is getting it to churn out what you want rather than the virus wants. How they do that bit is something I'm going to have to read up on myself!

Sure google will have some electron micrographs of viruses in action, they look like nothing else on earth, more like little robots than semi-living things...
