Osmetech plc ("Osmetech" or "the Company")

The Company has been notified that Gartmore Investment Ltd (GIL), Gartmore Fund Managers Limited (GFM) and Gartmore Global Partners (GGP) have decreased their interest in Osmetech following the sale of 500,000 ordinary shares at 27.2 pence, and 785,000 ordinary shares at 30.5 pence on 18 December 2006.

The total holding of 32,444,344 shares comprises the aggregated holdings controlled by GIL, GFM and GGP and represents approximately 15.998 per cent of the Company's issued ordinary share capital (202,804,973).

Thanks for your convoluted "explanation". It has holes, and non-sequiturs, in it big enough to drive a truck through. You have also missed a rather pertinent point about the large 30.5p trades last week. Can you see what I mean - or will I have to point it out to you in due course?
