The Mail today, has recommended a portfolio of shares for 2003. Their portfolio
for 2002 did very very badly so no gurantees of success, but their ereocommendation of Galliford Try stands out. A well covered yield of 6.6% and a P/E of about 5 and going lower still.
Galliford has had its misfotunes , but on the whole is a well run company .It has avery solid land bank and its quality of construction is well regarded.
An absolute BARGAIN at current valuations and one of the cheapest and
"safest" construction plays.
Dont be surprised if GFRD outperforms all the other shares recommended in
The Mail today.
A 50% upside potential and even after a gain of 50% ,the shares will look cheap.
