Comparatively small Russian Oil Play. Have got good relationships with important Russians, huge proven reserves, Top Tier development partner. Production coming on stream. Have seriously annoyed City folks in the past but once that is over they should rocket. Announcement due mid to end January. 18 pence to buy on 29th December.
As an outsider for a year end recovery I will also add GFV (guinness Flight VCT). Its portfolio has held up well during the downturn - better than most other VCTs and is now trading well below NAV. Expect them to start making capital distributions this year and for others to wake up to the value. 40 pence to buy on 29th December
