OIP..........New name - brighter future

-interims all sound very positive
-I think this is looking , relatively speaking, a low risk/high reward investment
-accounts indicate total assets are around £7.7m, that includes cash and the investments in Vialogy and Acrobot. The investments in those two are valued at cash put in. Given the substantial progress of those two companies, but in particular Vialogy, that is looking very light to me., esp. against a market cap for OIP of around £9m.

-I liked this bit in the statement:

'ViaLogy in particular has moved from being an exciting but speculative
technology research and development company to a business that is in detailed
commercial negotiations with a number of international organisations. Having
validated its ability to produce valuable additional information from
microarrays, enabling users to obtain data hitherto hidden by background
'noise', the strengthened management and technical team has now turned its
attention to more established and therefore more commercially attractive
industries. Detailed discussions are on-going with leading companies in the
fields of mass spectrometry, sensor communication, geo-seismology, and national
security. We hope and expect that these will lead to the ViaLogy technology
being incorporated in products that will have commercial significance.'

-that all sounds very attractive.
-Assuming negotiations get concluded in a satisfactory manner, we are looking at a company (Vialogy) that has got a technology that has no other serious competition, (other than expensive hardware), and is applicable in numerous global industries and can deliver a step-change in performanve in those industries.
-That has to be worth a lot of money, these initial commercial negotiations should give an indication of how much, but it has to make V worth a lot more than what OIP paid for its 40%+ of Vialogy.

-final note, very pleasing that OIP participated in th elast funding round and has therefore kept a high % of Vialogy.
